About the Designer: Isha Jain
Isha Jain
Born and raised in Delhi, India, Isha Jain enjoyed a childhood filled with fun. She loved sketching and coloring, and would spend hours painting and cutting stencils.
This passion for colors and shapes led her to pursue a career in clothing design and retail fashion management at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi.
While her first job with a fashion house got her started in her career, she always felt drawn to do something “outside the box.” So she broke away on her own, where her creativity would have no limitation or compromise.
Working mostly in silk and cotton, Isha sometimes employs other artisans to collaborate with her on certain elements of her designs. All the motifs seen in her apparel collections are either hand-block-printed or screen-printed. The clothing she makes is always colorful and joyous, and it tells the story of happy moments, youthfulness, and a celebration of life.
